October Favorites

Okay so I have enjoyed my first months Blog and I am looking forward to many more! so happy I have 2 followers already! So here are my monthly favorites!

(£1.99 Superdrug & Boots)
Impulse - Tease
Okay so I play uni-hoc at 6th form and we work up quite a sweat and this spray of mine is always chucked around between us and we always say how nice it smells! It is such a gorgeous smell however it doesn't stay for very long which is disappointing.

 Barry M Nail Varnish -
I LOVE THIS. It looks so pretty I was going to take a picture of my nails with it on but I don't have it on today :( but I do love glittery nail varnish at the moment and it is making me all christmassy!
(£2.99 Superdrug)
NYC Metro Quartet Eyeshadow - Union Square
I have been converted into a eyeshadow wearer after buying this for a party and now I wear it like almost every day and it really compliments my hazel eyes and it pretty much tells you where to put each colour and it comes with a cute little brush with a place to put it too!

(£1.19 Superdrug)
Schwarzkopf Gliss Shine Tonic
I really suffer with dull hair so sometimes when I go out or want shiny hair I spray couple of squirts of this in my hair and it really spruces it up and gives it some shine! I love it well worth the buy!

(£5.29 Boots & Superdrug)
Rimmel Exaggerate Eye Liner - Black
I Have really struggled to find a good eye liner. I think I have mentioned before that I had an MUA one that I didn't like but I bought this one the other day, one use and I was in love with it! The line is really clear and distinct which is great and it doesn't dry too quick so you cant correct it easily.

(£7.99 Boots & Superdrug)
Maybelline Colossal Cat Eyes Mascara
This mascara is amazing, it gives the impression that you are wearing false lashes (with lots of coats) or gives great length for a natural day time look. Really does do what it says on the packet..(which is rare). I really love the packaging and I have been known to wear it without curling my eyelashes because it isn't necessary  Amazing product.

(£2.49 Superdrug)
Superdrug Expertise Salt Spray
I know earlier I said I like having shiny hair I also like matt and messy hair like Binky from Made In Chelsea (so jel!) which I love so I went out and bought a superdrug own product (which I don't normally) but this one has really pulled it off! <3

(£2.99 Superdrug)
Batiste Dry Shampoo - Proud and True Brit
I bought this around the whole british fever season and I was feeling patriotic so I went for this version of the spray. I really love the dry shamppos as I am having my batroom re done I cant have a quick shower to refresh my hair so I am so thankful I have this!

Pastel Nails | Review

 Barry M - 304-Mint Green
This nail varnish is stunning i am always a fan of Barry M nail varishes and this is no exeption. You do however have to put 2 coats on but a really cool perk is of you have long nails like me you cn see the colour through the back so cool! The nail varnish has stayed on perfectly and hasn't chipped even without a top coat!
 Barry M - 307-Lemon
This nail varnish like the green one was brilliant also. Sometimes i have found with yellow nail varnish it comes out a weird colour but this doesn't at all. it is a really nice shade of yellow exactly as it is in the bottle. because it is a very light colour you do have to use 3 coats but i love the colour so it was defiantly worth it!
 Barry M- 308-Berry
As you can probably tell by now I love baary M nail varnish! This one has again, all the good points i have mentioned before lovely colour no complaints!

Collection 2000 - 48 Candy Floss
Now I do venture away from my safety net of Barry M occasionally and this was a great risk to take. It is just the quality of Barry M but qute a bit cheaper.

Overall I think that this varying pastel nails is really unique and on trend I have had it on all week and got compliments everyday which obviously was very nice for me! Haha! I also got my GlossyBox today so I will be trying it out over the next couple of days and I will report back. Also I am accumulating some items for a haul to show you all!

Review | Rimmel London 25 Hour Lasting Finish Foundation

(I use shade 100 Ivory and I am medium pale skin tone)

Okay so I have been using this foundation for about 2 months now and I really like it. Although I do have to say during the summer I did find it a tad heavy for all day everyday use. However it's promise to stay on for 25 hours is completely correct.

I have found it more appeal during these wintery and rainy times . As I have found when it rains it stays on really well you just have to give it a little rub in when you're in the dry and it blends in perfectly! It is in a glass bottle which is really just the cherry on top!

It is currently £6.99 at Superdrug. I currently cant find the price of it at Boots but I should imagine it would be too different.

To Dye or not to Dye?

So I've been dilly daddling  whether or not to dip dye my hair blond or not. I am a proud ginger though so I'm not sure if it would suit me or not. I spoke to my hairdresser and she said I may not work if i went lighter on my hair but I wanted to go blond.

My inspiration for this hairstyle was Nicola Roberts (from Girls Aloud). I think her hair looks stunning in this pic. She has been my hair inspiration pretty much since Girls Aloud formed. I got a full fringe when she did (BIG mistake so big I deleted every picture so I cant show you Daymn) and so on and so forth so I wondering whether to follow in her footsteps once again.

Now I have had my haircut to just shy of hers in this picture and I recently had a fringe cut in (I don't have a picture of this yet but I will do in my October favorites) but this is the most recent with my hair down.

So what do you guys think? please let me know and I will go with the majority after " weeks and I will let you know the verdict in my October favorites post!

My Youtube Addiction

So over the past like year i have found myself addicted to Youtube! I am subscribing to like everyone so I thought that i would share with you why I love some of them.

I hope everyone in the world has watched at least one of her videos she is the most hilarious girl on the internet literally. She was the first person I ever subscribed to because i just thought she was so funny and could entertain me every week so I have woken up every Thursday morning and just watched her video straight away and now I have watched every single one of her videos and everyone has made me laugh but this one is defiantly my fave:

My Drunk Kitchen (Myharto aka Hannah Hart)
After watching Jenna Marbles My Drunk Kitchen Tribute I was curious as to what my drunk kitchen was. I instantly fell in love with Hannah's punny-ness and hilarious drunken antics but I think the one which made me sub scribe was this one:

Okay so I really have no idea how i came across this magical being but I did and now I am subscribed and happy every Sunday for ever  This guy is so classically funny (and cute too BONUS!) and I was just like SUBSCRIBE so this is my favorite of his videos:

So this guy is one of my favourite british youtubers he is so funny and pretty and he makes so beautiful videos such as (Goodbye-go check it out it looks amazing) and I just think he's top class but this video like Goodbye is so well thought out I had to show you:

So this is my beauty blog I subscribe to (and I think everyone should subscribe to at least one) and I just think she is so pretty and really friendly and approachable and easy to watch and so yeah. She was also my inspiration to blog so thank-you Zoella!

My Clear Skin Secrets

So this is my first beauty related blog so here it goes:

Okay, so I am constantly complemented by people i know on how clear my skin is and they are always shocked by how much make-up I wear (I will tell you beauties why later) but I do have a secret to my clear skin. Now before you guys think that I am some sort of genius that discovered this this secret has been bubbling under the surface of revalation for quite a while. some of you may know of this mircle product and for those of you who do I apologise for wasting your time but I know I will never be without a pot of this at my side for the rest of my life!

I do however have quite a strict skin routine however where i wash my skin with a face wipe every morning and evening ( I use Superdrug's own baby wipes which are fantastic and will be featuring in my October favourites blog at the end of the month no doubt. Plus they are only 99p!) and I apply freederm fasttrack for sudden breakouts which i strongly recommened for dry/normal skin (like mine) (£3.19 at Superdrug) But my secret is....
SUDOCREM!!!! (£3.49 at Superdrug for 250g which will easily last a year)

Omg, I can't stop raving about this product I would eccommened it to anyone and everyone with every skin type. My best friend Lucy has an oily complexion and she loves it too.

I recommened that you apply it thinly in the morning around 5 minutes before applying your make-up and quite thickly at night so it can work deeply into your skin.

Just as a side note I am considering changing the name of my bog and any reccomendations would be perfect and any blog requests of what you want me to chat about would be greatly appreciated too.

With Love,

Nicole xx

 Okay just a quick one:

So I have just realized I don't have a way for you beauties to follow my posts can someone please comment ad tell me which gadget to get and where to put it and also I was considering changing my blog name to Lu-Lu-Nicole but if you beauties have any other ideas please comment and tell me!

Also I would love to know how to follow other people's blogs and how to read them. I'm such a novice!

First Post!

Hi, My name is Nicole.

I really have no idea how to start one of these thingy-mcbobs but I suppose I should just tell you what I'm going to be posting about and a bit about me so here it goes!

I hope to blog about loads of things but mainly i want this to be a fashion and beauty blog. I relly should have read loads of different ones around this subject before hand but you will come to know that i cant be bothered about that sort of stuff. I am quite a relaxed person. I also want to see this as sort of an escape you could say from everything and a way of getting my thoughts out of my head.

I suspect you will all find out eventually that I have mild OCD. Things like this can really control peoples lives but I hope this doesn't and i also hope to blog about this in future because i think its a very misunderstood mental disorder.

I suppose I should also 'admit' that I am lucky enough to 'suffer' from mild anxiety and panic attacks which I've never really told anyone before so I see this as quite a big step to be putting this out there for the whole world to see. And again I hope to blog about this in the future.

But yeah aside form that i suppose you would say I'm your average teenager, who loves make-up and clothes, not sporty in the slightest but liking life at the moment.

So that's me and I hope you enjoy my blog!
