Update

Bonjour mon amis,

Yes I did try a bit of french there but Today I thought I would just catch you up abit.

Okay so item numero 1.
ITS MY BIRTHDAY ON THE 27TH OF FEBRUARY! I'm so happy but I don't think I will be able to get to a screen before then so I thought I would just tell you now.

2.
My BRITS vs. Oscars post is coming soon! I thought that I would do that the same as my Baftas Vs. Grammys post because that went down really well and I got a good response from that.

3.
I am also frantically getting together a Haul video as I have bought a lot of clothes recently also.

Please let me know if there are any other celebrity fashion events you want me to review or if you think I should do the Brits and Grammys seperatly because I love doing celebrity fashion posts!

How To | Book Hearts

Okay so this isn't going to be what you would normally expect form my blog and don't expect too much like this in the future because I am not very crafty, but I saw this on an episode of super scrimpers and with my sister and we thought it looked really cool! After I found myself bored with a lot of spare time over this half term I thought I would actually do it! It really isn't that difficult and took me about 10 minutes per heart!

Okay so here's what you are going to need:

  • A book you no longer want
  • A pencil
  • A ruler
  • A stapler (or glue)
  • Scissors
  • String (or ribbon)

Step 1: Rip out several pages of your book I am using one about horoscopes I got free with a magazine.

Step 2: Rule one of the pieces of paper into 3

Step 3: Cut down those lines!

Step 4: Now draw lines on the bottom of two of them so they are different lengths.

 Step 5: Cut them too!
Step 6: Repeat all of the steps from step 2 again so you have 6 strips of 3 different lengths.

Step 7: Pull them all together going from left to right: Short, middle length, long, long, middle length, short

Step 8: Staple them all together. (Please excuse my dusty stapler!)

Step 9: bend all of the pieces back on them self put to the same length then staple them together.

Now you have your heart!

Step 10: Repeat this for as many hearts as you want I chose to do 3.

Step 11: Punch 2 holes in the top of the heart the further apart they are the better the hang of it.

And that's it it looks so cool and it is so simple for those of us who are craftilly challenged and its dirt cheap too! Perfect!

Please let me know if you liked this post and my other how to ones and any other things you want me to comment on. I think I will do another celebrity fashion post because I think they are my best ones, but I will do other stuff too.

Review | Streamys Fashion

Okay so I got told to review this by the gorgeous Grace of Other Infinities so I thought I should but you have no idea how hard it was to find red carpet pictures! For people whos lives centre around the internet they really don't use it in the way I want so this is going to be short and sweet not like the Bafta vs. Grammys post I did so I will just be posing my comments. Sorry!

Grace Helbig

Well I said I wasn't going to put much commenting on these pictures I am very sorry about but I think you should definatly check out Grace Helbig's Youtube Channel its called DailyGrace but yeah it is quite a party dress event so I dint have much more to say about it really but if you have anything else to say about it let me know in the comment section below and any other award shows you want me to review I was thinking the Brits and the Elle style awards.

BAFTA vs. Grammys

Last week we had two award shows on the same night. The BAFTAs in the UK (Film) and the Grammys in America. I was outraged at the fact that Les Mis didn't get best film (Bloomin' Argo!) but overall it was a fabbity night for fashion so I thought why not do a Versus Fashion contest on some of my favourite looks...

Nice day for a white dress...
I love both of these looks I think when Jennifer went on the stage she really made an impact but then Taylor looks amazing (as usual)

Winner: JENNIFER LAWRENCE

Cut - Out Madness
When I was looking for pictures for this post both of these dresses really stood out to me Gemma's is so daring but Kelly's looks like it defines the laws of physics! (How is it staying together?!)

Winner: KELLY ROWLAND

Dark Matter
Both of these women look stunning in their floor length gowns! I am an admirer of everything Anne Hathaway wears because she always looks amazing (I would quite like to be her) but Carrie Underwood is not to be overlooked looking stunning here in a not overly embroidered dress I think she got it bang on.

Winner: ANNE HATHAWAY
(shocker!)

Bold and Beautiful
Surprisingly enough I couldn't find a red dress worn at the Baftas (What!) but I did spot this stunning yellow dress wich was clearly a head turner on the red carpet! Rhianna obviously looks stunning but so does Marion I think this is quite a tough one to call.

Winner: RHIANNA

So the s more observent of you will have noticed that it was an unintended draw on the fashion front but overall I think that there wasnt a weak dress. everyone is seriously upping their game! I also have to share with you one of my favourite picture surronding this which I saw when watching The Ellen Show videos on YouTube...

I just think this is hilarious!

Comment below if you agree with what I've said or have another outfits I should check out!

How to | Daytime Eyeshadow

Hello my lovelies :)

On friday I was just mulling about at school with a face full of make-up which I had incidently put alot of effort into and one of my friends complimented me and asked me how I did my eye make-up. I obviously was pleased with this compliment and then I thought why dont I write a blog post about it! So here it is sorry for the awkwardly close pictures. I am using an NYC Metro Quartet in Union Square

Take the main colour you want to use and apply it all over your lid. I like to use quite a light colour because otherwise it is quite alot for an understated daytime look.

Take quite a dark colour and apply it in the outside corner of your eye. This opens it up and makes your eyes look bigger and adds a bit of definition in my opinion.

Apply a white or very light shade to the inner corner of your eye this will again open it up and brighten the look of your eyes.

I then like to put a line of a darker shade than on the lid and apply it into the crease. This will just add a bit of shaping to the eye socket.

Then apply a thin line of liquid eyeliner to the upper lid of your eye ( I am using Rimmel exaggerate  eyeliner in black) You could also apply a thin line of brown kohl liner and smudge it should it tickle your fancy.

Then wack on some mascara I am using Maybelline Scandal Eyes mascara.

Then if you want to add a line of eyeliner to your waterline and a little under your bottom lashes and smudge it out.

And that's it! a completed daytime eye look. Let me know in the comment section if you liked this post and want me to do more like this and some suggestions for different posts I could do.
